Backfires through intake, please help.

Easiest way to know if your firing order is on the money is pull the plug on cyl #1 and bring it to tdc. If your rotor is just past your #1cylinder wire in reference to dist cap and the wires are in the right firing order then your having valve train issues. Provided your mechanical timing is right ie cam and crank. Maybe a stretched timing chain. No matter where your dist is sitting this will correct your timing.
