Started cutting out almost like out of gas or missing real bad . But it's intermittent no rhyme or reason when it's going to do it . Hot , cold , cruising , firing it up flat surface , uphill or downhill . Found loose wire on alternator ( it was arcing bad ) but fixed that thought I solved problem but it's still doing it . Might be fine for a whole day or not totally random !!!!!!!

 

Fuel filter first. Check for possible water in the old one also.

 

Change filter and bumped up pressure still problems . Very random !!!!!!!!

 

Bad fuel injector/s?

 

Have you checked engine codes? If it shuts off completely it may be a fuel pump.
