2001 Bullitt - Black - MRT Reload (#1118)
I previously had this listed for sale, as I was looking to get a 2012 Boss 302. I decided to wait for awhile and hold on to this car when there was limited interest in it.
It has some history, having been owned by Scott Hoag, Mustang Racing Technologies founder and president. He previously worked for Ford as a Mustang engineer, and had a key role in getting the 2001 Bullitt to market.
This car was originally purchased by someone who lived in my general location, made its way up to MI, got "reloaded" by MRT, and then made it's way back down to me in 2008.
I haven't driven it much in the past 2 years, but I am putting a few dollars into it now to change a few things that I had not done previously. The most visible update is a new decklid that returns the car to the production spoilerless look. I have stored the original decklid with the MRT B-wing spoiler, which was produced "in tribute" to the small rear wing of the 2000 Bullitt concept car.
This Bullitt was modified to cruise the street, head down a drag strip, and carve road courses. I have autocrossed it a few times and hope to do a bit more this year. Mainly it's fun to hear the exhaust system, feel the supercharger accelerate the car, and appreciate the history.

A few pictures of when I bought the car back in 2008. Its sequential number is 1118. I bought it on 11-Sep and my birthday is on 18-Sep!

The "for sale" thread is here.
It's technically not for sale at the moment, but if someone were to make an offer that was in the ballpark of the asking amount, I would seriously consider it.

Very nice, great price for a special edition like that too! I would just add some corbeau cr1's and a few other mods and itll be tearing up road courses. What about trading for a 2002 black GT with an aftermarket head unit, kicker 500w amp, and two 10' kicker cv subs? Everything else is stock with not even 35,000 on the odo yet! Sadly its an automatic tho :/
