It really is terrible when someone decides its fun to mess with someone elses car. I see cars i absolutely abhor in the school parking lot. But even if they are terrible excuses for automobiles, I understand well enough that the owner likes it to leave it be.
On a lighter note though, when I was picking up my brother from school today, I noticed a 99 Snake pull up maybe 1-1.5 spaces ahead of me in the lane to the right (i was in a left turn lane). I could see him checking my Bullitt out in his driver side mirror. I gave a grin and a thumbs up, and saw his face light up in the mirror. We parted ways and all, but it sure does feel good to see other guys who love this car (mustang in general, not just the Bullitt) as much as you and I do.
Gotta love Mustang Comraderie

Tahts awesome. there is no better feeling than when you get a smile or a thumbs up from another Mustang owner/lover. Well... Except maybe when you beat a camaro and being able to see the expression on their face afterward.

Glad your car came out relatively unscathed. Along with the obvious super-sized order of jealousy, methinks the plates may've helped encourage the 'Stang hating. Probably a rice-lover with feelings of RWD/cubic inches inadequacy. (When it comes to engines, size - ie., displacement - usually does matter!)

I'm not good enough for you huh?
How about Toni? I could make a personal disaster occur so you feel needed by her, and therefore feel as though you should come here. And it will just so happen that I give you the wrong directions, and when you show up here, you might as well give me a ride.
If not Toni, then my plan has already slowly crumbled beneath my feet, and you should come to my distress and comfort me by giving me a ride.

Don't get me started on your problems too bucko. Lets be civil and keep issues regarding the opposite sex away from more important things, like late night posting on a mustang forum

Basically the IRS, exhaust from an 03' Cobra were swapped with my Bullitt's parts. From what I understand it's pretty straight forward of a swap, just a few bolts here and there. The only thing thing I remember requireing a different part was a new yoke for the drive shaft to connect with the differential. The only thing I didn't like was that
i lost the stock exhaust, which I solved by buying the SLP pipes, that sound awsome.

Congrats Arin, Bullits are beautiful, and your looks like it was kept in great shape, and low mileage. If you don't mind how much did you pay? I understand if you don't want to say, I am glad to see you got your self a more reliable stang. Enjoy that Bullit, you deserve it

Arin,
Maybe you should head over to the SVT forum and see if anyone wants to do a swap in your area. Since your car has so few miles there may be a few interested people.
And from when I talked to previous owner of my car, the swap was done in his drive way with 2 sets of jack stands and couple of tools. So I think it drops out pretty easy and the number of parts that you would need to buy wouldn't cost that much. maybe just invest in some new eurethane bushings when you do the install.

Tom,
I don't mind at all; I got her for 16,000 before taxes, trade in (2000), etc
Bill,
That sounds like a good idea. I have some friends a few miles north that know alot of local folk involved in the mustang hobby. I'll spread the word around that I might be interested in the swap. The only issue at all is that my parent's don't exactly want me modding the car to begin with. I'm going to be sticking with small things that wont take the car out of commission to do, and things they might not notice.
I do really want to get this done sooner or later though. the thought of IRS just makes me smile, especially with all the curvy roads up in woodside, where alot of my friends live.
