I agree. My ONLY complaint is that i hate chrome, and sidepipes like petes will be chrome
i wonder if i can just steel wool it and give it that brushed look :P

Here are my sidepipe options. option 1 is the cheapest. options 2 and 3 are $750. big price gap.
1) fab up something with the Bullitt mufflers, etc and get some cool double tips
2) Get the Borla kit, which is what peter has. Steeda is selling it now as one of their own parts..

3) the Bassani kit. never seen this one before, and it looks kinda funky with the way it goes into ONE muffler.. but i need some more research before i decide.

I'm gonna hear how petes exhaust sounds on my car when we literally put it on my car to see how it sounds. so that parts easy. i need to find out how the bassanis sound
i like the beefier lookin tips of the bassani, but it seems like it might have smaller pipe (maybe its just an optical illusion, because of the bigger tips..). i cant remember how big it is on petes car, i guess i can wait for him to chime in later.
either way, i expect the bullitt to be muffler less for a bit after we swap out the axles lol

Make sure you get a video of the mufflerless, etc. Bullitt.

I'd probably try to fab something up, but you dont have a welder. I'd use the bullitt mufflers and make the pipe so you cant even see it, but you would hear a hell of a lot of it

I heard the borla kit on a 4.6L and it sounds pretty good. alot of people say its not that loud though, and I was kind of hoping for a louder sound
also, i keep reading everywhere that side exist exhaust does not work with subframe connectors, which I have already (though I plan on upgrading to beefier units later)
I'm really liking the fabbing up idea right now, im sure i could somehow MAKE it fit if i just did it myself. also CHEAP. The only things I'd be paying for then are the Borla style tips and raw pipe
Gary, there is no indian santa claus
but since christmas has so little to do with religion these days anyway, we celebrate it
Nathan, there will be hecka videos of every stage of my exhaust. stock. no mufflers. new exhaust.
The other thing is, im liking the roush covers less and less every day. that means I'll need a V6 bumper, and I dont want to deal with a whole bumper swap because mom n dad are gonna flip out like they akways do when i even talk about modding the bullitt
i got yelled at for removin my air silencer lol

the pics of pete's exhaust? or of the mach with the roush lip?
the roush lip is gonna look strange on the bullitt because the whole theme of the bullitt is "less is more" and its a thing that sticks way out there. sigh, i dunno. i wish i could get a prepainted rear v6 bumper lol
as of right now my plan is to use the bullitt mufflers, but make them removable if i want new mufflers later on. the hard part here is finding those glorious tips..
grrr
and my internet just died again, disable and re-enable wireless every few minutes. it hasnt acted like this in a long time. going to bed now

I can tell you you won't be dissapointed with the SLP. The other good thing is you can buy aftermarket tips from SLP (I think) that look like the Bullitt Tips. So you could then get Cobra Exhaust with SLP Mufflers and very similar tips to the Bullitt look. I went with the stock SLP tips and while I'd like the brushed look, the polished ones still look great.
SLP!

If I can't find a way to get a good side exhaust set up working, SLPs are on my list of conventional catbacks
I already know the tips to get if I'm going rear exit, theres some MRT rolled brushed tips for about $100 that look phenomenal
I also like the sound of magnaflows on the 4.6L
so many options...

Hey man, haven't talked in a while. IDK if you even remember me lol. But I absolutely love Bassani on the SN95s. All of em. Go with catted X and Bassani catback (BX if you want to save some money). Throw on the MRT tips and call it a day!
