00 GT traction control

00 GT traction control

i just bought a 00 GT on saturday, i cant get the traction control to turn off, the dealer said they would replace the switch but they couldent get to it till saturday, is there any temporary fix

How many burnouts do you plan on doing before Saturday?

actually the traction control usually kicks in when im in 3rd or 4th gear and wont let me go any faster than about 45mph. i can do all of my burnouts no problem

my traction control light wouldn't go on but the traction control would go off when pushed the button. Sorry I don't have an answer for your question other than taking the switch out and hot wiring it

Unplug any of your ABS sensors. Your computer will sense the failure of your ABS system and disable your Traction Control. Your rear sensors are connected under your rear seats and are very easily accessible.

Just reread your post, Congrats on the new car! I have always liked white GT's.

Edit2

Be aware that this will turn on your ABS light and will disable your ABS. Proceed with extreme caution.
