not as easy to do a write up for me as it was to put the shifter in, gonna be generic but provide at least some details, I have been trying to figure out exactly which Megashifter I have, cant be sure, it does look like not only the megashifters could be tweaked to fit but some of their others as well, wish I had more money to play with, couple of their gate shifters could probably be made to work as well., if I dont get this done Friday I will have it saturday for sure.

opinions are all good, I see a lot of stuff on cars that is beyond what I like also, I will say that my crappy pictures dont do a good job of the way it looks, at least to me in person, it was a definit upgrade from the stubby plastic stocker, I do appreciate the niceties from those that dont necessarily care for it.

thats in the park position, when in gear it is a little lower, I also have some more room for adjustmet to drop it down another inch or so, I have pulled the shifter back out to look at doing something with the boot, the way it was installed was about 4 inches higher than stock, well I got my half azz script together and re-took a couple of photos, will put my write up soon, fair warning, it wont be for everbody I am sure, only the determined and dedicated. LOL

Hi there, I know this is an old thread, but if you still have this mod, I did it myself, and you can purchase the shifter stalk for a B&M Firebird console shifter, and It installs on the shifter unit in place of the tall one exactly the same, and its only 2 inches high, works out great, I wasn't able to see any picks, but that may be because I'm at work and there blocked, but I didn't use the plate and rubber boot that came with it, I made a custom leather boot for it and attached it to my console, so it looks like it belongs there, however I also did not use the shift indicator, but I know where the gears are so I didn't see it as a necessity, I have toyed with the idea of dremmeling out a spot on the console and installing it that way, but I probably wont.
