Does Ford even do XM installed? I know GM is big on it. I highly doubt there will be a factory option.

I hope so! I got hooked on XM and I expect to have it installed on my '05 GT. If Ford doesn't offer a retrofit kit, I'll have an independent shop handle it.

Ford is Sirius, well sort of, they have not given a push yet to factory installs. No where near as good of a push has GM has been for XM. So, unfortunately for me and everyone else, no factory XM!

GM owns a big stake in XM so it's safe to say that will never happen. To the best of my knowledge Ford has no ownership in Sirius but they signed a deal with them to offer it in virtually all their vehicle lines.

Sirius will likely be an option for the Mustang in 06. One thing that Sirius has going for it is that it signed the MLB to a contract to broadcast all their games. Also, if your a Big 10, Pac 10 and I think ACC fan Sirius has broadcasting rights to their games.

All those broadcasting rights belong to XM. Sirius has NFL, NHL, Nascar in 2007 or 6(?), and a few others I can't think of. Also, I believe GM's stake in XM is about 2% or so.
