What do you think of these seats?

No, I do not have a Mustang as yet
But a person can plan can't they?
So, while I was ruffling through Hot Rod magazine, and came across an ad for Cobra Seats.
One in particular stood out (the Cobra Misano L)...
These seats each weigh only 23 pounds!
Plus the shiny bullit parts really look top notch!
Tell me what you think!

A lot of money for two seats, but it would be cool to have. The Rs are in 3D's boy racer car btw.

Question...
You mentioned that that is a lot of money for two seats. Are they selling them at that price for the pair or for each???

I know it seems like an aweful lot but....
Consider the amount of time your rear end is sitting in that seat. Stuck in traffic, bad weather or good. Hot summer day or cold winter night. End of the day when your tired, or early morning when you're still not quite fully awake. In all honesty it adds up to a whole lot of hours when driving conditions are less that optimum.
I opted for one of cobra's carbon fiber Suzuka Technology seats (W/Alcantara and space foam) and it was worth every penny ($1,800 give or take) I have never regretted spending the money one bit. The only concession I made was to have a similar shaped, less expensive Cobra seat (sidewinder) upholstered in matching fabric/embroidery by the factory for the passenger side which saved me something like $800.
Life is too short to spend several hours a week stuck in rush hour traffic while sitting in an uncomfortable seat.
Also, if I'm not mistaken, that seat comes with a removable backside (panel) that can be ordered in carbon fiber, colored plastic, or even painted to match the car. And I also believe you can do custom 2-tone material color options on the front part of the seats as well so the mix and match possibilities are pretty decent.
Here is a link for the Cobra distributor I dealt with.
