Arrow What Arm Rest and E-brake cover to get? Who has a good eye for Color ? ? ? ?

Hi Guys I was checking to see what you guys think? I'm going to have a arm rest cover made as well as the E-Brake cover made.

I was think of going just black leather with orange stitching to match the Seats and to keep it a clean look

The other way of doing it would be to have the Black leather on the TOP of the arm rest. The Orange Carbon fiber on the sides with
orange stitching? But I don't know if this would take away from the seats?

Let me know what you guys think? The 1st. few photos are of my orange and black seats. The others are to see what the Arm rest
would look like.

#1. Plain and go with Orange thread.

Or #3

As you can see from the Orange and black photos my car is a Auto so I will not be doing a shift boot just the
e-brake and arm cover.

My vote is black with just orange stitching. Keep it simple.

I say black with orange stitching. The pics above with the 2 tone colour, IMO, looks tacky.

I agree, I think too much orange would take away from the seats, same with the doors, if you ever decided to add color to the doors, I would do welt only, and not try to put a large orange insert in the door. I think the seats give you all the major color you need without starting to look rice IMO.

I'm bad with colors, so I just play it safe and go for black on black on black on black. I figure at least then, at best it is "sleek and modern" and at worst it is "boring," but never ugly.

As for your color options.. sorry, I don't have any useful advice. I'm bad with colors.

Less is more. You want them to tie in with the interior but not steal away and make it look too busy. I vote for black with orange stitching. It will look really classy with just the right touch of sporty

DO NOT RUIN YOUR BEAUTIFUL INTERIOR!

I agree with most everyone else that less is more. What you have now looks absolutely like it is a stock Ford trim option and it is perfectly tasteful. I would do black with orange stitching on the armrest and boots and be done with it. It would be great if you could get the steering wheel stiched in orange as well.

Adding any more orange accents will make it look ricer and tacky...

SO are you leaving the door panels all black, going for orange inserts in the door panel cove, or orange welting around the door panel cove? I am thinking while I do like the contrasting red acents on cars trimmed in red, I think the orange on the door panels would take too much focus away from the fabulous seats. You may consider trimming the door panels with silver or orange welt and be done with it.

Not to mention, the odds of finding material to fill the door panel that actually matches the seats might be slim if you want it to look remotely factory. I agree, welts or nothing on the doors.

I think just go with black with orange stitching, I think more orange fabric would be a little overboard
