Vent dressup

I'd like to have your opinion on this simple dress up of the vents. For purposes of taking photo, I used a temporary solution to keep the pony in place. I am thinking of doing this to all vents, but thought it might look good on the far left vent, get an unsymmetrical look going. I have a tri-bar emblem just over the glove compartment, and the MGW pony plug cover in the center (and MGW shifter **** with the pony).

The inspiration for this was the following: on a business trip, I had a Pontiac G6 rental and noted that the vents were the same as on the Mustang 05-07. While I understand common parts could be used in different vehicles, I'm thinking the Mustang vents could stand out from others.

I am also thinking the pony could go on the lower part of the vent.

I may need to curve the pony logo a bit.

Maybe MGW could make a drop-in replacement with the pony logo already on it.

I would appreciate your thoughts.

I love it.... center the pony in the circle... all ponies should face toward the center...

It seems a little busy. Cool little pony though!

Nice touch. If you have one facing right, then put it on the far outside passenger one, for a nice balance. Wouldn't do all four. Keep it suttle.

Oh, Ponies face out (as you have it), not in.

I got the tiny pony's off of ebay. Some sellers make plaques with these logos glued on.

Thanks. Is that a decal on your headlight or really etched?

i agree. props for trying something new though.

a bit off topic, is it just the angle, or is that horse's nose really short?

Ha ha. No, they are just a decal. When I painted the headlight Buckets, I scratched one of the Lense's, and couldn't get the entire thing buffedout.

They are "Auto-Art Etched Effectz" decals. got them at AutoZone for $4.99. They actually look pretty good there, while one covers up a pretty deep gouge.

Yeah... the horse's nose is short. I noticed that detail when I got it. I would have liked to get a hold of the pony's MGW uses... licensing... any help here?

I guess my comment is a plug for their product. "Looks really etched."

Ah... I got those for the interior over the backseat armrests... for the
kids. I'd like to get my headlight buckets painted, I read another post, sounds risky and involved. Wonder if anyone out there does it regularly.
