Trunk taillight shroud problem...

After installing my sequentials, I found that I could not tighten up the plastic shroud clip things that twist on to the upper taillight bolts. They just slip loosely and don't grab. I have even tried to use pipe tape to help give a grip but no success. The threads on the plastic peice look ok and not damaged, plus problem on both sides too BTW. Anybody else have this problem, or better yet, found a way to resolve it short of shooting some sort of adheasive on the bolt?

Thanks for any replies

Ok, I guess I am the only one...

I resolved the problem by cutting down some nuts to be inserts in the plastic T nut. Works great and is tight now...

Amazing what you can come up with when your team is not in the playoffs, no car shows to go to, and sitting around the garage looking for something to do...
