I forgot if someone made a thread like this but if they had it has faded from veiw and become obsolete, so I wanted to sart a new thread for people to post their audio/video setups. Every aspect but I like cars with junk in the trunk. (Sorry I coun't resist saying that)

Had the Skipper1000, gutted it entirely.

Installed a Kenwood DDX-7015 head unit, KVN-4100 navigation unit. Sirius satellite unit controlled by the head unit.
4 Infinity Kappa 682.7s in place of the factory 5X7 speakers.
MTX 4508-4 subs for the doors.
Scosche box with an EFX 12" sub in place of the factory 10's in the trunk
Two Kicker KX650-4 amps. One mounted to each rear seat back.
Lightning Audio LSD10DT-03 Cap for power distribution.

So friggin loud that I think I have an anurism. And the really cool part is, I actually have more trunk space that I started with! Only thing I am kinda bummed about is Ford was too darn cheap to actually completely carpet the trunk. There was no carpet under the skipper sub box in the trunk. So now I have a bare spot.

Here are a couple of pictures. Excuse the sun washout. My driveway faces east.

From: Austin, TX
Head Unit: Pioneer AVIC-D1 w/bypass and reverse keyhole backup camera
iPod: Connected through AUX port on Pioneer, cable ran through center console
Front/Rear speakers: Alpine SPS-570A 5x7
Fron/Rear amp: using head unit, approx 22Wx4
Sub amp: Alpine MRD-M301 mono-D 350Wx1
Sub: Infinity Perfect 12.1d DVC 4ohm
4awg Amp kit

The subwoofer and amp are not yet installed, but the rest is. I really like this head unit and the 5x7 speakers sound good. I don't think I'm going to amp them, but won't know for sure until I get the sub in there.

Alpine D300 7" touch screen
Alpine IPod Adapter
6" Boston Components
6" Boston Rear Speakers
JL Audio 300/2 Amp
JL Audio 500/1 Amp
JL Audio 10w7 sub

There's not a lot of room to work with in the convertibles. This is just a temporary set-up for now.
