I remember seeing a thread on here a long time ago about a custom run of "Trunk Monkey" 12v power outlet covers, but I can't seem to find it now, even after a search.

Bottom line is, I want one. There was a group buy for those a while back, was that from MGW?

I set that up with George at MGW a few months ago. If you call MGW and ask for him, they will probably still be able to make you one

 

I called MGW just now (1400 hours PST) and got a recording that MGW is "closed for the holidays and will reopen Jan 2, 2006".

Looks like they decided to extend their vacation a week or so...

I'll have to try later - maybe next week. I do want a Trunk Monkey cover!

 

They close at 5:00 eastern time. They have been open all week. I talked to them on Tuesday.

 

OK, I got in touch with MGW - they still have the "Trunk Monkey" power outlet plugs!

I ordered mine today.

They said that they still have around 5 or so, in both chrome and silver. If there is demand I was told they can make more.

They are nice folks! Get yours while they last.

Now all I need is a license plate that says, "EETDUST" and I'll be in great shape!!
