I installed my handles this weekend and it wasn't too bad. I was able to get everything back together with nothing loose or rattling. I think the chrome handles really add to the rest of the MGW chrome pieces ...

heh heh, that sucks man, but it would have been able to talk like a pirate for a week . I still wouldnt bother with them for most car related stuff. I only use em for when theres some sort of open thing spinning at me, ie weedwhacker, grinder, etc

Hey 05YellowGT, do you have anymore pix of your car, especially the interior? What wood kit is that?

Thanks.

Looks like the woodview or the B&I kit - I can get either one for you if you want.

Second what Sodaman asks

Any news or photos on the deluxe versions? I love the traditional, but before I place an order I gotta see what the deluxes are all about.

Well, we are so close it's not funny - but last night there was an offset that was wrong, and it took out the jaws used to hold the part....

So, two steps forward, 5-6 back...

We are done with the design phase, now it's just getting it machined consistently, and in a reasonable time. While I can justify 3 hour cycle times for my own "toys" I don't think you'd want to pay for that as a customer, so we're working on getting the cycle time minimized right now.

As soon as we have sent off the first set for anodizing or plating, I'll post up pictures - they really do look nice, although our "traditional" ones do as well, so it's really just a matter of personal taste when you see the deluxe versions.

COOL! Thanks for the update.

Either way, your stuff has an excellent reputation, so I'm not worried.

1/2 hour per side, tops. I had doors apart on another guy's car this weekend trying out yet another "project", and the R&R is easy - what we were up to was not...

And that's all I can say on that for now.

Basic directions can be D/L from the main section of our website, under the how-to section if you're interested - speaking of which, we need to post the cup holder install sheets up there too now that I wrote them.

LOL, cup holder install sheets?
1. Remove junk from cup holder.
2. place bezel into place.
3. smile, you did it yourself.

Just had to give you some trouble Marcello.

Or make it super solid and remove the center console drill holes, and bolt it in. This is what I did and I love it. Marcello's parts are addictive,LOL. I am sure I will soon be adding the auto bezel as well, I am disappointed in the roush bezel. Yes I had it before yours was out, and of course yours will dominate. Need the louvers painted, lol, it never ends.

I left the velcro off, makes it easier to get the junk out of the holes.
