Tool For Removing Trunk Panels

Hello everyone. In a couple weeks I plan on Dynamatting the trunk, I just need the tool that is used to pop those plastic fasteners out. Any idea where I can find one other than the dealership?

I've always used a flat blade screwdriver followed by a small set of needlenose pliers and I haven't damaged mine.

Pick up a panel popper from Autozone! They are invaluable for removing those pop fasteners without causing any collateral damage. They only cost about 6 bucks.

+1 or if you have a harbor freight near by they have plastic sets of various sizes for around $4.

got this set from summit racing. there is also a larger set. comes in very handy.

On some of the plastic pins ,you can take a small screw driver and pull the inside part out,then the pin just pulls straight out. not hard at all.Look at the pin real close if it's this kind of pin,it will have a small round center( this is the part to pull out.then when replaceing them ,just put the big part of the pin in the hole,then push the center piece in to lock in place. This type of pin is the easiest to remove.lol
