TINT
#3
Check out my gallery. Tint is 5% on the back windows and 35% on the doors. 18% all around would be pretty nice but cops hate it on the doors because they can't see in the car. Make sure you roll them down way before the cop gets near your car if you get pulled over.

The percentage is for the amount of visability, So 18% means 18 % visibility. I had 20 % on the front, but I just had 18% installed. It looks NICE!!! Real dark. You can't even tell I have red interior.

I have 5% on the back, and 20% on the sides......Very dark, but I can still see out with no problem.
Even in bright sun light, people have a hard time seeing in.

Novice tint question, when you say 18%, 5%, or 20% is this referred to as the amount of visiblity or the amount of tint itself ?

Don't know if that's true or accurate though.

yes the percentage is how much light it lets thru. I have 20 on rear and quarter windows, and 35% on driver and pass door, as that is what is legal in missouri. So definitely check if you dont want to have to mess with the cops. Some states dont like the tint, more than others I am sure.

I currently have 5% all around on my truck. It's awesome in the day time, but at night, I can barely see anything. I definately would not recommend going 5% on the front windows. I even think that that much is bad on the back window, because I can barely see at night when I'm backing up. I'm probably going to do 30% or so all the way around on my Mustang when I get it.
