I would like to get a Steeda Tri-Ax Shifter installed but I hear that you must install it from the bottom of the car. Is this true? Or is thuis something I can do in my garage?

It is the same as the Pro 5.0 shifter that I have. I installed it in the garage with another person under the car to help a bit. It was tight, but I got it in through the top. I did not have to remove the driveshaft as some people have said that they have. It took me about 45 minutes total to install mine.
Hope this helps.

That's not bad at all. I can probably get my son to help me out then.

Thanks

yes , it really takes 2 people to make it easiest and if you can get it up off the ground you are really in business. The steeda, Our B&M and the others all install generally the same way..
