I was under bright sunshine yesterday and I was able to see the outline of a large upward arrow in the center of the tachometer on my auto gt. It's never lit up. In the promo shots when the stang came up, it shows it lit in amber. I'm assuming it's some kind of shift light. Is this only for manual owners? Is it disabled for autos? Cuz it is obviosuly there, but it's never lite up.

They are in the both set ups. I have seen the light in the owner's manual, but they never have worked.

Moving this topic. It is not an issue. It is a known fact that the light, or lack there of, is not included in the 05/06. Somewhere in the forum this has already been discussed, I'll try to find it.

I'm glad its not there. If I want to shift at 6000rpm that's my choice, I don't want the car telling me to save gas and shift at 1500rpm. I'm so glad we don't have the CAGS crap like Corvettes.
