shaker 500 door speakers need to be flush
Take a look at the Steeda speaker grill. You can find it at MossMustang.com Part Number 056-346. http://www.mossmustang.com/Shop/View...23&SortOrder=1
Hey even with my factory unmodified Shaker 500 I can feel the base which is so smooth. It's nice to also have a car that does not have speakers that rattle with the base nor have any distortion....
Well, I guess it's good enough for me because I have been driving my 2005 Cavalier until the hail damage is fixed on my Pony. I feel like I am in hell driving the Cavalier again. I really miss my Pony!
I have been using the Cavalier like a truck transporting wood and patio blocks. I really need a truck! What I wish I had was a modern Ranchero!

+1
Never had a problem hitting the speaker with my foot although I have hit my head on the door frame a few times...
I admit I like to feel the hairs on my legs move when the bass is cranked from the door subs. With the little ones in the doors plus the Infinity 12" in the trunk...the Shaker 500 lives up to it's name...but then again, it is not REALLY a 500 with the 1000 watt Kenwood amp in back is it???
