Seat belt instructions on sunvisor

I want to remove the ugly seat belt instructions on the sun visors.......... after reading about how they work in the owners manuel I actually don't need to see it !
Does anyone know how to remove them without leaving any sign it was there ?

Cool Another Choice?

Jim: Have the same great feeling towards these wonderful Gov. mandated seatbelt warning/idiot labels on the sun visors! Helps prevent lawsuits? Well I don't have the magic bullet answer for you. But you might want to consider this possible option, to what you now have to stare at. One of the Mustang suppliers make several versions of these dandy label cover-ups! good Luck on this one! Any other ideas out there Gang? CalStang

Jim, (remove the visors) take a thin damp cloth and place it over top of the label. Then, take a HOT clothes iron and put it on top of the cloth. This will create steam and loosen the adhesive so it can be removed.
Don't be stupid about it though, use some patience and common sense. For example, everything will get a little hot doing this... watch your fingers and don't get so hot you risk damaging something.

Edit: You'd probably get a faster, better response if you'd use the GT/CS forum for things that are specific for the CS. You'll pool a lot more info posting questions like this in the proper forum, ie interior mods.

I know a couple of people who've tried to remove these with varying degrees of success - personally I'd go for the cover-up option.
Unless you remove every trace of adhesive, it'll attract dirt, leaving a dark, sticky patch.

It's not that difficult. I did it to both of mine with no problems. 100% success on each. Many here have.

You can always cover it up later.

Cool Vanished?

Eric: I've looked in my saves and they seem to have vanished. And can't now find them out there for you, on the Stang supplier sites. Sorry. Anyone else know from where these came from? CalStang
