Seriously tho just tuen it so the clip is up and down and then use plyers to squeeze it and push it through the hole

yeah honestly. i was replacing the stock door handles wit hthe IUP ones and rather than ask how to do it i thought i was smart and i snapped both plastic pieces. i didnt really care tho as i had the IUP ones i was putting in. They go back in so easily with a snap the cables do. literally

On the cable there is a black piece, on the inside part of the door handle there are two tabs you have to press. Try some needle nose pliers. I paid $34 a pair for mine.
