Regret not getting IUP?
The IUP lite option looks great with grey or tan interiors. I'm not crazy about the full IUP on anything but charcoal. I could care less about my color, the best looking color is 555 bright white anyway.
Hey biason I agree. IUP looks best with the dark charcoal. The tan & grey would look ok without it but I would still get it. I actually wanted the med graphite on my car. But it's not avaible for the Mineral Grey & my mom's 03 Ranger has the brown/tan interior & I just don't like it. It looks "euck" IMO. I just don't think I could stand driving a car with that interior everyday. Again JMO. This is why I had to settle for the dark charcoal. Although It's not that bad cuz that's what color my 02 interior was.
Anyway. I orginally ordered the IUP because it upgraded the gagues to 6 but then I actually read what else in included. And now I love everything about it.
Anywhoo. Whatever makes you happy. I mean you have to drive it. And like someone else pointed out you can always go aftermarket. Cheermates.

I'm with Nichole and Jerry on this. I've intentially one without the IUP, but did opt for the 18R Sport group that includes the leather steering wheel and the shifter. I'd liked to have everything else it includes, but not the aluminum dash panels. They are overdone, and I prefer a more subdued look.

I sure do! But it's ok...
I just got my stang yesterday... love it to death. My interior just looks so naked without the IUP. I prolly should've waited... but I was just too eager to get the mustang right then and there.
But hey... you win some, you lose some... atleast I have my stang!

I bought without and really don't miss it. In fact, I like how the air vents stand out without it. I had the opportunity to buy it on a red V-6, but decided the red looked pretty bad with the black rocker panel stripe (IMHO).

No regrets at all here! Personally I feel that the IUP is tacky and since my car is screaming yellow on the outside I prefer it to be the exact opposite on the inside!

The two missing gauges and computer read out info are all covered by idiot lights.
If I need gauges, I'll go aftermarket. I like the retro look of the green lighting, and I didn't get a Mustang GT to play with the dash light colors.

1. Black leather steering wheel cover over the stock rubber wheel has given the wheel the right feel, and added a bit to the thickness providing a better grip, and no metal spokes intruding into the leather grip area. $30
2. Chrome shift **** goes nicely with the chrome dash accents, and eliminated the funky feel of the stock rubber ****. $25 B)
3. Saved all that weight

Is it still possible for me to put the IUP in my interior?

I love my IUP and find stangs without it to be very plain. Guess i'd rather have it look over the top then dull....as long as we're all happy in the end that's all that matters....the my color option is very cool though too! Makes the car seem new and different when you change it from time to time...
I'm trying to find out if the extra gauges (or the standard two small ones) are actually functioning gauges that measure - say - the actual oil pressure, or just 'idiot light' gauges, that are either 'off' or 'on'.
The early Miatas had 'real' oil pressure gauges, but after too many complaints by people who didn't understand that the oil pressure varies as you drive your car, Mazda switched to 'on/off' gauges - just visual idiot lights.
