After reading several posts, I notice that a lot of members are getting the IUP, without the premium interior upgrade. Is that available?

When my husband ordered my GT, he told the Fleet Manager that I wanted Black on charcoal, and IUP, but no other upgrades. I am planning on doing custom interior, after market stereo etc, so didnt want to have to pay for all the upgrades only to tear them out and customize it. The FM told him that I couldnt get the IUP without getting the fully upgraded interior.

I have a call into him, I would love some facts to throw at him if any one has any..

I am getting the GT Premium with IUP which provides the aluminum dash, pedals and shifter but not the option that gives you red seats. Is that what you mean?

Or do you mean getting the GT delux with IUP?

ecgirard2 -
I was wondering if I could get a GT Deluxe with IUP.

the goalie -
I was afraid you were going to say that... he also said that the reason I have to wait so long is because my black on charcoal is a "custom" order since they didnt have any slated to be delivered for inventory... but then didnt really know what was in the inventory.

Time to leave another message.

If I understand it right, about the only thing you don't get with IUP on a GT Premium, is the color trimmed interior. All panels, trims, insets and such are included in the IUP.

No, mycolor is part of IUP. It also won't be a dealer option.

My Color is included in the IUP, and you can't get one without the other

Not quite sure what you mean about the build/delivery thing. We all have to wait...It takes a while to place an order and have it scheduled/Built/Delivered. But that's probably the only way you are gonna get the exact car you want.
