Rear Deck

HAs anyone changed their rear speakers as yet , and if so how does one remove the deck to get at existing speakers. Thank-You Much !Ed

Do you know what file would be accossiated as this PC cannot recognise it ?

its a pdf file you may have to get the free adobe acrobat reader...

Wow - thanks tmcolegr - by the looks of it, it should be a piece of cake. Right from the rear seat, no crawling around in the trunk?

Hey thanks I'll have to try tone of the other pc's that has it they all do so wierd it would'nt open BUT hey I have something to wok with Thank-You ! Ed

The back screws can be a bit rough. I took a torx bit from a driver set and found an ignition wrench that would fit to get some more torgue on the screws. I think it was a quarter inch wrench. I also put the back seat down and a fan in the trunk. Being able to look up through bottom actually was a big help in getting the last couple of screws in. Don't tighten them down until all are started so the speaker can moved to get he last screw started. I also suggest the speaker harness's it made the job real easy not having to cut the factory wires. Hope this helps.

Yes it sure does I tried just a test on the speakers and then thought I'd just get a Ford harness to plug & play .

Paid $10 on ebay for a Ford factory service DVD. Same ones the dealer technicians use.
