Thumbs up

From past cars having the side windows tinted they have had to take the door panels off to tint. Is this the case with the 05 mustang? I want my windows tinted but I dont want them to take the door panels off. Oh one more thing has everyone had there tint place sand down the Dot Matrix border on the back three windows? I cant stand the looks of it if its not sanded down. Any alternatives with the Dot Matrix border besides sanding them down? Thanks alot Kevin

As for the dot matrix pattern in the back.... holy crap I don't know... I gotta go check my car now.... well, not now - in a few days...

(out of town till thursday night - going into withdrawel not being able to drive it! )

Don't know about the panels, but from what I've seen/heard, there are no dot matrix bumps on the back windows of the 05 - I didn't notice any, anyway

I asked a similar question in the Exterior Mods section. See here, page 4. http://forums.bradbarnett.net/index.php?sh...pic=11712&st=60

Adrenalin said: There are no issues with the dot matrix portion of the windows since it is such a small area and they are not as raised up like the previous years. You can't even tell on mine that there were "dots".

And now, after having it done, the dots dont look bad at all, in fact I think it looks neat.

I dont think they removed my door panels either.

No door panel removal and no dot matrix sanding....it looks really sweet with tint...I highly recommend it. I wish the dealer would offer it as an installed option. 30% all around.

No to the door panel. Yes to the dot-matrix. My guy roughed them up a bit, but there is NO way to get rid of that gray border unless you leave that area untinted and then go back over it with vinyl or paint it afterward. He gave me that option, but in the end I said to heck with it, I'll live with it like everybody else

I got 5% in back 35% up front.
