Putting in new Seat Covers - Question about Side Airbags
OK so im considering purchasing a set of Red GT Takeoff seat covers. I've currently got black leather in my V6 without side airbags. The seat covers however, do have the airbags (and all the components for the hook-up). . a friend of mine however raised the concern that if i hook up the airbags they might not work anyway because of a sensor. as i understand it, the passenger side sensor can be realigned by the dealership if the seat is taken out/put back in, but can the same be done for the side airbags? furthermore, how difficult and time consuming is the install (b/t removal of the seats and covers and re-insertion)?

appreciate the responses, but no one has answered my question. The seat covers are NOT aftermarket, they are TakeOffs from a GT with the ICAP, nor do i have plans to go aftermarket because of the spectacular deal (under $300) thats been offered to me on these.

Why would it include airbags with the seat leather? I probably wouldn't tinker with explosive devices, and the covers will not fit the V6's front seats anyway, they are shaped differently.
