Hi...in my old 01' mustang i always left my cell phone charger in the power outlet because it was never really in the way of anything. But on the new model they put that power outlet above the stereo and i was wondering if anyone has any solutions on what you have done with your cell phone chargers or anything for that matter.


PS: i know there is one in the center console but im not able to close that because the cord is in the way and anyhow if I have my phone charging i can not hear it ring if i just competely put the charger and the phone in the center console.

I toss mine in the center console when I am not using it. After all, that is what it is for

 

I plug mine into the center console, and close the lid on the (mainly flat, uncoiled part of my) charger cord. This way I can charge my cell and not have the big charger base jutting out of the middle of the dashboard all ugly-like.

 

I do the same thing as Nazz and it works fine.

 

I just bought one with a retractable cord so when i am not using it I can retract the cord and place it in the center console or cup holder....

for me is perfect, because I plug the radar detector cable there, and because it goes up on the windshield, does not bother the stick or the stereo at all, actually, if I was a ford engineer, I would put it there un purpose for the radar detector hehehe.
not because I speed offcourse...

... because having a Mustang is for cops like candy for a kid...
and also I hate speed traps...
