Power Loss

Has anyone noticed a decrease in engine power after installing an aftermarket amplifier and sub?

I just installed a Rockford Fosgate P3001 and a 12" Rockford Stage 3 sub.

Not sure if it's true or not, but it feels like i've lost some accelleration. Almost feels like it does when the A/C is running.

Thoughts?

Extra weight can do that, or it is possible your ground isn't solid and it's causing a huge spike in the draw on your alternator. I feel you'd hear it in the music if that were the case, but no guarantees.
