ouch....I know exactly what you mean. I carried a rag to set on my shifter back when I had the 01 Bullitt....

The premier trim **** is the same way. Hurts bad. Hurst one not so much.... The silverhorse racing brake handle makes up for it though.

****. The carbon steering wheel emblem seems like overkill, but the rest of it works very well.

Also had this made by Bruce at koolknobs and worked with him on the boot adapter.
Had him turn a Raiders billiard ball into a shiftknob for a friend.

I decided to re do mine again. Inspired by the shifters in the current Nascars. I know needs a good cleaning really looks worse than it is with the flash.
