Please help with embroidery thread color
Ok I think I've finally decided to go with the pony logo from Gulio for my headrests. On the picture of the design he has on his site the pony is filled in silver and the outline is black. Now, I have the dark charcoal leather interior. Do you think the black will show up or should I go with another color? Maybe dark silver outline? But if I do that will there be enough of a contrast between the silver and the dark silver? LOL.....I'm actually stressing out over this decision. It's a one shot deal and I don't want to screw it up. Opinions please! Oh and if anyone has had this design done........pictures please. I think so far the TMS members headrests include the GT, the Tribar Pony, and the 2005 Pony. At least that's all I've been able to find up until this point.

Do it in red to match the exterior. I don't think having too many different colors will look good, and black probably won't show at all.

I think black or dark silver are both too dark. Just plain silver should give you the match to the dash and the contrast you need. My car is dark charcoal cloth and I had mine done in silver so here's a pic for you to judge. Your's would look even better because the leather is slightly darker than the cloth. IMHO!
Good luck, Chris

Hey Chris, thanks for the pictures! Your headrests look great!
I actually was going to go with the other pony Gulio has. The one you got is listed as the 2005 Pony. Then there is another one that just is listed as Pony that's filled in, not just an outline. But after seeing yours I'm thinking maybe I'll go with the 2005 pony instead. Yours is the first I've seen on the dark charcoal background and I really like it! It would solve the problem of the outline color and I could do the whole thing in silver.

However, if you want to stay with the "Pony", you might consider silver for the Fill color with either black or red as the Outline color. But I think that would be a bit busy. Too bad Giulio doesn't provide a "Painter" tool that allows you to preview your color choices.

Exactly my thoughts when I did mine! "Less is more" as they say.

Do the outline in red to match your car and it won't take away from your car.

That's what I was thinking. Or, if there's a way to get the fill done in a different color.
