I have a few questions on the install. I purchased the PAC C2R-FRD1 to make this easier and cleaner.

PAC:
Reverse Light (Green) - No backup camera installed. Can I ignore this wire or do I connect to the Pioneer wire?
VSS (Purple/White) - No VSS in my car no matching wire on stereo either. Leave it?
Parking Break (Red/White) - I wasnt sure about this, what is this used for? My stereo harness does have a matching wire, so connect to that or ignore?
SWC Output (White/Green) - No steering wheel controls in my car so leave unused?
Antenna (Blue) - No power antenna on my car. Does this connect to the Pioneer?

Pioneer:
Mute (Yellow/Black) - No matching wire on PAC, so no where for it to go. Leave it?
Reverse Gear (Violette/White) - No backup camera. Can I ignore this or connect to PAC as above?
Parking Brake (Green) - Ignore or connect to PAC as above?

Short version: All of these can be ignored/taped off/secured away until desired to use. None of these should matter in your case. Although, you should probably think about going ahead and passing them through between the units so that you have one location to connect to should you need some of these functions to wake up. Say you add the backup camera. You'd want those wires to work on both units, I'd say.

Regarding your inquiries as to PAC VSS and Parking Brake: Used to lock out any movie playing functions while the car is in motion (VSS) or not parked (Parking Brake). While this is done because people shouldn't watch Mad Max while driving... I mean, people disable the neutral safety switch to let remote start happen in manuals... but they really shouldn't...
