What is that message"

No idea...

I didn't notice any difference between the "CD/DVD" input and the "AUX" input (the "CD/DVD" input gives you the "PIE" message, and the "AUX" input gives you this one).

I just found this message more interesting than "PIE."

RMac, is that a special IPOD holder on your consol? Did you make it or buy it. It looks very cool.

I have to ask something. Is this PIE the same thing as the I-Tunes that will become available? Also I just had the XM commander installed last weekend and the sound quality is not as good as the Shaker itself. Will purchasing the PIE resolve the sound quality issue?

Thanks.

It's not anything special though... it's just a leather iPod case. It just happens to fit perfectly in the groove over the top of the cupholders.

This is the case:

Hey,
How do you get the side panels off that hide the screws that hold the center console in place?

I've downloaded all the schematics but seen how that part is removed.

Just pull the panels away from the dash.. They are snapped in place.

I pulled from the middle, slowly. They really do pop right off. Pull them straight out towards you.

It actually helps a little to push from the back with one hand and pull from the front with the other. It should just pop rigth out.

On another note: I've had mine installed for 2 weeks and haven't had a single problem with it. The dimmer and speed volume both work fine and the HU recognizes the AUX input every time.
