Pictures of your head unit
I'm in the market for a new stereo. Main concern is having Bluetooth. But I'm interested to see everyones setup and double din vs single din. Pretty sure I want an LCD screen since it looks better IMO. Resembles more of what I think stock would like. So anyone with after market head units, post your set up. I guess I just want a clean, stock like look but not the ford OEM navigation.

Thanks guys! They all look really nice. The Clarion looks surprisingly very stock, and the idea that the colors can change to meet interior lighting is awesome. I have led underglow inside and blue map leds, so my car is all blue on the inside and that be nice to have the head unit matching.
My other concern that I forgot to mention was the aux input. Most likely I'll use my phone for bluetooth streaming, but can I still retain the stock aux port functionality with an aftermarket head unit?

that Clarion has a nice big screen....What do you guys use for music playback? Do you guys use the aux, bluetooth, radio?
I see Pioneer just released a brand new unit. http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PU...rs/AVH-X2500BT
But there is no aux on the front, its on the back. Do I just run the aux cable to wherever I want? Or can I hook it up to my stock aux input that's in the console? thanks guys for all the pictures

I use a 16GB USB drive in the front slot.
You can extend/route the rear Aux to wherever you want inside the car. My 2006 didn't have a Factory Aux, so I'm not sure if the factory aux will plug right in or not without mods.
