Thanks. Took me a few days to get used to the kick panel on my side. As for the other side, not too many people ride with me, so not a big issue. I just yell at people if they scuff them up and make them clean it. Seems to be enough to remind them not to do it agian

Nice kick panels... did you have to custom order those or are they mass produced?

Are you also using door speakers (the 4" and tweeter), in addition to the kick panel speakers?

THey are qlogic. Very nice tight fit. I was really amazed. SOund quility it leaps and bounds better than the door placement.

I had ethe JL 5.25 and tweet in the door location. I hated the staging. the sound was good, just didnt have the feeling like you were at a concert.

I removed the speakers from the doors and moved them down to the kicks. The doors are now empty. This was the best mod to my car since my turbo kit. I am very happy with the sound now.

Its not as bad as you think. I am 6'2" 215lbs with a size 12 foot and i dont have any issue at all. I use to set my left foot up were the dead pedal should have been. Thats the only adjustment i had to make, was to stop putting my foot all the way out and to the left. Now i just drop it in front of the clutch.

I had another mustang owner here at work sit in it, and he didnt think they caused an issue either. He ordered his about 20 minutes ago.

If anyone is interested, i know a site that charged me 80ish shipped to my door 2 days later (literally 2 days). If you want to try them, PM me and i will give you the URL.

What stops a passenger from kicking the speakers too hard? They are sweet!! I would be nervous as hell

I'd say the fact there's a 6'2" 215 pounder sitting within arms reach.

Only asking because you say your interior is finished... Any perticular reason you have mis matched gauges?

Only one thing I would do and it is a cheap mod, aluminum pedal covers. Came on my 08 and are just slapped on but they look nice.

Wow, Forge. That did come out nice. It looks real similar to how mine did Here's a suggestion, pop the grills off those Kickers, and mask off the "chrome" colored part. Then get some black or charcoal gray vinyl dye and spray the blue parts. It'll take a couple of applications, but it doesn't run. The grills will match properly then, and look fantastic.

VHT is the only company that I can find that still make penetrating spray dye. Avoid anything that says "coating" as it will peel off. I know O'Reilly's carries it, and Summit has it, too.

hawgman - Cause i dont like th eled wideband A/F guages. CLosest i could find was the innovate. I will put some vblue filter paper stuff in it when it warms up. Might help, but who knows.

08Eleanor - Ya i was thinking about something like that. I never see the pedals, so it wasnt apparent until i took those pics how nasty the stock ones look.

Infinity - Thanks. I was thinking about just taking them off. I dont like the blue or chrome look. I thought about painting them, or having it powder coated all black.
