Pics of Dynamat install (door panels)

Anybody have pictures of your dynamat (or other brand) installations in the door panels? I'm thinking about doing it soon, and I'm curious to see what I'm in for. If anyone has any tips, please send them my way.

Thanks!!!

I have no pics, but I did do mine with SS Damplifier Pro.

I can tell you that there is more than enough room in there to cover the whole outer door skin (the one closest to the outside) in sound dampening material. The inner skin, however, will take a lot of small pieces to fill in the areas. Also, the vapor barrier will need to be removed and reinstalled with some new sealant.

Actually, you should be able to peel back the vapor barrier and simply press it back into place with the existing adhesive bead. That stuff is very sticky. I just pulled back one section at a time, installed the dynamat, stuck the vapor barrier back, and then moved on to the next section. I was afraid that if removed the whole thing, I wouldn't get it back in place correctly. there is plenty of room to work in the door panels, just keep using small pieces until you get it all in....
