Has anyone painted their actual dash? Not the Silver or Chracoal Aplique, but right uderneath it. (eg the glove box)

Basically i want to change my dash from Dove (eg Light graphite), to Dark Charcoal. I was thinking of painting it with INterior Dupont Soft Touch.

Has anyone here every done that? I tried to get a Console (dash) replacement in Charcoal but Ford wants almost 2Gs for it.

Why not? You can see how much the silver switch plate changes the look of the door (in a good way). It brightens it up ALOT!!!
