I have been putting together a new stereo system...and I think i finally have it figured out.

I was hoping I could get some feed back on if this would work, sound good, etc.

Advice and opinions are welcomed.

That all looks good, not what I would pick, but it looks good. Hopefully you're aware that putting those JL's in your doors won't be an easy drop in... right?

I would suggest going with 6x8's in the doors and rear deck to replace the factory 6x8's.

Other than that, I second the comment about the JL 8's in the front door. It's gonna take some custom work to get those in and fitted properly.

I would suggest spending a bit more on the front speakers and less on the rear ones. Front speakers are much more important. As far as the JL's go I would advice the 8W3v2. They are a perfect match for the volume of the woofer enclosures in the door and I believe they have less mounting depth, hence less custom work to get them mounted.

interesting Eric. I will look in to those.

As far as the 6x8....I prefer the sound of round speakers to oval. I have had both, and have heard different set ups in my friend's cars.

Dual voice coils will probably sound better too (not that I personally would be able to tell...mine sound fine). For mine, I wanted a single-amp configuration, so dual wasn't in the cards for me.
