I plan on taking some more pictures this week end and I'll PM them to you. Also , it's rosewood and not burlwood , they do make burlwood though. I got it at a local shop but you can order them of the web , it's either woodview or wooddash I don't remember which , but I'll check and let you know.

Yeah, what's the deal with it being canted forward like that? Bill, is that a product of the MGW shifter you have? Would it look straight if it were on a stock shifter? It doesn't look canted forward like that on the MGW site.

My pics are with the shifter in Neutral.

Yes, beneath it is the MGW short throw shifter. I have no idea how it would look like on a stock shifter, guessing a little more forward, but the same angle.

Looks like it's engaged in 1st or 3rd in the MGW site.

MGW concept shift **** for christmas

Installed today and looks real good to me! Matches the e-brake handle and ford bezel perfectly IMO!
(In the pictures, I have the shifter in neutral.)

edit: drove around a bit today and IMO this shift **** is much more comfortable than the stock ****.

Ok so my MGW shifter is now installed as is this **** and I'm wondering how all of you guys have the boot go right up to the **** like that. On mine there is a rubber adapter that the boot is clipping into directly below the **** and it does not look anywhere near as good. If you could explain how you got it to go up and over like that it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

with the concept **** you do NOT use the adapter collar. you take it off and work the boot up around the base of the **** so the set screw is hidden.

Spike, your setup looks slick! Was originally not liking this shifter handle but in YOUR setup it's making me take a second look.

I have had this **** on for about 5 days or so, and thus far, I love it. I was running the MGW Gripper **** for about two years, and really like it as well. But there is something about this **** in conjunction with the MGW shifter that just....well.....works.....

The only thing I have noticed is when in second or fourth gear, the factory boot seems to be completely stretched to it's limit along the center line of the boot, which has a tendicy to pull the boot down on the shift ****.

I love how the contour to the front of the **** almost acts as a pistol grip type config for your bottom fingers when shifting....

Oh, and George, I need a matching shifter bezel please.... I love how the groove in the center of the shift handle matches the E Brake handle, and the cup holder......

Thx,
Mike

Thanks man! I've always wanted to replace my stock shift **** and found nothing. Then MGW comes out of nowhere with this **** and for me, it's the exact look I wanted.

Thx,

try flipping the boot 180 degrees. it is not symetrical and the hole is lcoser to one side front to back. that should fix it.
