MGW scored a touchdown with the new shifter but missed the extra point with that ****... Sorry George. I'm sure it's quality like all your other products.

The white hurst shift ball or as mentioned above t-handle fits the retro look.

Well, I kinda like it. While the new mustang is definitely retro.. it's also unmistakably modern inside and out and I think this matches well (especially if you have other MGW and SilverHorseRacing interior stuff). My concern is more with how it would feel in the palm of my hand.. looks like it might be a little uncomfortable in that it doesn't quite look spherical. Definitely looks better than that all metal **** ford was delivering with one of the interior upgrade packages for 07.

I didn't like it in the concept, and definitely don't like it now. Maybe Bill will change my mind. But for now, I dun like it.

Looks like it was the same shifter on the manual coupe also.

Definitely can't beat the looks of the Hurst handle. I honestly look back at the concept cars and get a bit queezy. They're terrible looking if you ask me. At least, in comparison to the production car. The interior is just as bad. The only thing I really like on the concept is the taillights. Everything else is better on the production version.

See though I've never understood that......... IMO unless you are using a Hurst shifter, don't put the Hurst **** on it. That's like driving a Mustang because its a great car, but dressing it up to look like a Camaro only because you like the looks better. To each their own!

Still don't like the new MGW **** though...... sorry.

Wish I would have known. I would have traded you for the hurst. Or made a deal.

I like the black ball I have on top of the MGW, I think I might like it better then the Hurst lever. If the Hurst shifter worked and performed like the MGW then I'd consider having the Hurst installed with the Hurst Black ball but it doesn't work anywhere close to as well as the MGW so its the MGW with the Black Hurst 8-Ball Sorry about the dust and dirt in the pic, I was in a hurry to take it, HA

Rich I still like your concept MGW shifters best, George you should have listened or taken Rich's ideas to heart.

The stock looks OK but there are better alternatives for shifter (MGW) and shift ball, I think. But its AOK if you like stock, saves you money in the end

Hrmm... so you don't like this? I have a Hurst going in tomorrow, anyway. But I've had mine like this for quite some time, and got a lot of compliments. Definitely better than stock.

The first thing I did was replace the stock **** with an MGW Gripper and I like it but it's too low, not the Gripper's fault, stock was too low as well. The stock **** is too European looking IMO and is just as out of place as this new MGW ****. So yes I do not like the new one either.

MGW used to make a "tall" Gripper but never came out with it for the S197.

Well.. looks like it's just me, Bill, Couper93, and Brandon. I like it. Curious from those that have it how it feels in your hand.

IMO a white ball looks out of place.Stands out too much. I agree a black ball would look better

Great.
It's larger than the stock ****.
It is also very evident now I need a shifter. The MGW **** sits higher then stock so the leverage makes the sloppiness of the stock shift very evident.
