Is This Moleskin? (Pic)

I'm about to get the windows tinted on my 06 Mustang, but before I do, I need to make sure that I don't have the dreaded rubber weather seal that scratches everyone's windows up.

So I went to check and found this, it seems like moleskin to me, but I figured I'd better get a second opinion. What do you guys think?

I honestly can't tell from the photos. It's my understanding the 2006 didn't come with the moleskin (I have an '06). I just tinted my windows a few weeks ago and actually replaced the strips all together with the later model strips. Can't remember what I paid but it wasn't horribly bad.

Yeah, I know the 06s didn't come with them stock. The 06s come with rubber weather seal, but this isn't rubber. It seems like felt to me. However, I bought this car pre-owned from a dealer. I'm wondering if the previous owner or the dealer didn't switch out the strips.

Yes, it's moleskin. The first pic shows the edge of it in relation to the rubber of the seal.

Get yer tint on.

That look to be the outside window seal. You want to be looking at the inside seal. The one that touches the inside of the glass not the outside.

06 Mustangs don't have felt on the indie that's why they need the Tint Protector felt.

Agree with flnsx, it's the inner seal that needs the Tint Protector. I originally did mine with felt strips and it lasted for 3 years. It then started to shift slightly so I replaced with Tint Protector and it's been good for 5 years so far.

As the above posters have stated, it needs applied to the inner track piece. This is a very easy mod as the track slides right out to work on it.
