Anyone know where I could find the housing for the dome lights online? I am looking for the black housing found in this picture.

I'm looking to replace mine in the parchment interior to accent it better. But I can't seem to find it anywhere!

 

Ebay, for one. I checked Fordparts.com...yeah $755!

Ebay I found one right away for $100.

So...spray paint?


Edit: You could try Plasti-dip. I've never used it, but supposedly its removable. not sure how much that applies to interior plastics

What color is your headliner ?

 

It's the tan parchment, but I want to see what the black housing looks like. Since the whole interior is two-tone black and tan I figure it will look pretty cool.

 

I "had" the entire tan parchment interior except for the dash and carpets. I'm perplexed at why ford mismatched it like this. Well anyway, I changed the tan seats to black leather and it really unified the dash and made everything look more matched overall. Wish I could get the door panel inserts someday.

I think the black dome light will most likely look great on your headliner as long as there's enough equal balance of black accents in your car all over.

And yeah that's what I'm thinking, the center console is black so are the door handles, and speakers. So I figured the black would good, but there's no way I'm spending $100+ on it!
