Does anyone have mirror tinting on their Mustangs? I want to tint my windows somehow, except I don't think the black tint will look good with Sonic Blue. So the idea of mirror tinting popped into my head. So, if anyone has it, post pics please!

I havent seen pics of anyones like that.

I dunno, the mirror tinting is an interesting idea, but I think it kinda might be ricerish/not that good. People say its not the best look. I dunno, it was just a thought.

Ok nevermind, I went through and looked at others peoples posts. (silly thought to do)

Anyway, If I'm gonna get the tint, I'm gonna get ti dark, I dont care how legal or what it is. After I'm 18 the cops can pull me over all they want.

But what do you think about the mirror tinting anyway?

I personally do not like mirror tint at all - but I'm one of those folks that its your car and if that's what you wanna do,..... you know.....

But dang man - check out my fav Sonic Blue - Adrenalin's ride - that looks SWEET with dark tint.....

I've been a fan of Adrenalin's car sinceh e started modding it. Its like almost exactly what I want. The sripes (except im leanign towards silver) and I lvoe his wheels. I guess i neevr noticed the tinting now.

I'm getting my flowmaster axle back on sunday! And sequential turn signals for my bday in june! ..... Eventually I want new headers and a whoel new exhaust, supercharge it, lol. Yeah. Lets just focus on paying the car off first.

Just say NO to mirror tint. Torch Red doesn't always look good with tint either. I went with 15% in the rear and 30% up front and it looks great! Much better than I thought, I didn't think I'd like it w/ 2 different tints, but you can barely tell and it looks killer. Also, I had it in OH for a week and didn't get any grief, yes it was just a week though.

I know there are fans of the mirror tint but I think it looks cheesey. I don't like to throw the rice word around since we should respect people rather than belittle them because our tastes or opinions are not the same. I put mirror tint in the same catagory as tall poorly fitting aluminum wings and CD's tied to the rear view. Not my style.

Limo tint doesn't look great either IMO, the medium to light tint looks alot classier.

You will get a bit of the mirror effect if you buy a full metal tint, but it's not cheesey looking.

Don't get mirror tinting. It is so tacky. Also, I see you are not 18 yet. You may want to change your attitude about tinting your windows and whether they are legal or not. Put it this way, cop pulls you over and since he can't see in the car he approaches with his gun drawn. He says"Do you know your tint is illegal?" You say"no." He gives you a ticket and then says "Oh, by the way, peel that tint off right now" and watches you do it. Trust me, they can and will make you remove it right there. The ticket will be the price of what you paid to get it tinted and now you have no tint on your car either.

FYI, I have 5% on the rear 3 windows and 35% on the doors. That is the legal limits where I live.

You car is already going to stand out so it's not like they won't notice, but do whatever you want cause you only learn from your mistakes

Here's mine. Sonic Blue with Limo tint on the back 3 windows. I'm thinking about doing light tint on the front side windows even though it's not legal for the front. So many others around town do it though...

You say you are under 18? Just becareful with that car and a tint... you might just fit a certain profile for the cops, in which case you will get a lot of heat.

Thats partly why I went with red instead of black for my car. A black car with loud exhaust + tint + bumping subs + young guy driving = perfect profile of criminal/something illegal. I went with red to make it a bit more "lighthearted" because black with the SLPs and a tint is too most awesome for me .

chaos, that looks really good. hmmm limo tint in back with a blackout on the rear and a black spoiler could look killer.

Oh yeah, if you've got your back end blacked out then mirror tint should be out of the question.

Um, red cars are the first thing cops in my area look for. Most people like to buy red sports cars. A black car will blend in with traffic, red will scream "Hey cop, look at me"

Yeh kindda like YELLOW, it is really hard to "blend in" with a screaming yellow muscle car...........

I have mine tinted at 35% on the door windows and 20% on the back 3 windows, will post pics when I get a chance.
