Looking for lost info about shaker door subs

It will basically "fool" the speakers into playing like they're in a larger enclosure, without the drawbacks of using a bigger enclosure.. So, you get the frequency response of a larger box, with the power handling of the smaller one.

And it works great! Not perfect by any means, they still want more power, but if I up the bass eq most of the way they *really* thump now. It will hold me until I can figure out the amp stuff.
I'm going away for the weekend but I will try some bridging stuff and let you know when I get back.

Well the Skipper formally known as the Shaker has now been relegated to the scrap heap where it belongs. Good example of Ford POS even after they replaced it once under warranty. I tried my best to live with it and make it work with better speakers but it spit out its last CD. Alpine 9830 head unit with Pioneer's all around and MTX 4500 subs NOW ROCK.
