Here is mine with the new 2010 charcoal leather with white stitching that I installed by myself yesterday very easily without removing the front seats which made it totally unescessary to power down the side airbags! This was a very easy install for me.

Try to find a McIntosh double din unit. They're pricey though...

Well, I haven't had a chance to do a really good shoot of my new interior just yet, but I've got a couple of pics.

I'll be putting up a post about my whole Tan to Black to Custom interior adventure later on, here's what I've got for now though:

Custom Corbeau A4's and Restraints:

Suede-wrapped Dash with gauge cluster:

Custom Rear Seat:

Kris, Good job on keeping the pics dark to keep it a secret. I was going to go with a diamond pattern, but I had a lot of people tell me keep it more modern!I should have gone with my gut feeling! Oh well,I'm still happy the way mine turned out. your interior is going to look great.

Thanks man. The pics are dark partly to still keep it slightly secret...and partly because I shot them in my garage with the door down lol.

It's funny that people told you that the diamond tuck wasn't modern. Take a look at the new Lamborghinis and some of the other high-end Euros out there. It's made a major comeback. It's all down to the presentation. Sure if you do the diamonds in black vinyl with black stitching on 1/2" foam it's gonna look like it came out of a 70's Pontiac, but if you use contrast stitching, more modern materials, and a thinner foam, it can look really good and not dated.

Glad you dig it!

Yeah, I remember there being a bunch of dislike for the Iacocca Mustang seats with the diamond stitch pattern. I wouldn't mind having those in my ride.

I came so close to doing the diamond tuck pattern, but since my interior didn't cost me anything,I let the Upholster do his thing, finally went with a sewing pattern that matched the lines in the custom door panels.

I love this thread....so many people only care about the outside. Its Fantastic to see these awesome custom Mustangs!!

A little custom work for a custom car...:

Im making plans to alter the door trim a tad....white piping and I havent decided on
the inserts or not...if so I would paint them white to continue the black and white theme.

Awesome!!

Did u glue the piping or just shove it in there? Seems like there is enough of it that it should stay
no problem without any type of adhesive....(?)

No you just push it in and it stays no adhesive needed, the door welt is cool stuff and it does just enough accent you door panel without being too much

I like your head unit Cavero. The one I actually want to throw in mine. What did it run ya? Did you have to get a $130 wiring harness? How was the install??

Costs about $300-350. No, I got the Metra harness for free. Aside from a voltage regulator I had to wire in to keep the subs from popping, it's all pretty standard hookup. You'll lose the speed controlled volume and the variable dimmer (although it does have a single mode dimmer)

Oh ok. That's what I thought. I posted a thread asking about it and a couple people were under the impression that I had to buy and additional $130 harness. Did you get everything from crutchfield?

I've heard that crutchfield started making people get the $150 harness, but they hadn't started that yet when I got mine in august 2008. The harness I got was also for the F150
