This is what interior looked like last racing season. The interior is being gutted again...not sure how it will look. Know a/c and stereo system have been deleted. Shifter has been changed from 3 speed with the 4r70w, to 2 speed with the newly installed powerglide transmission.

05stangkc is a moderator on this site. He can get the factory shift boot with the bezel at a good price.

Get a pic of an '06 with the regular IUP, and twist the manual shift **** 45 degrees to the right. That's it, at the moment.

That's not how it's staying, though, but it's not all ready yet... Maybe soonish... just figured out the last bit of 'technical' info I needed, and the days have been ultra crappy, and I don't have a shed/garage to play in.

/Hm... maybe my bro's new garage at his house with the A/C in it... That'd fix the humidity...
//No, unfortunately, it'll be full of crap soon. Just like the old one. Heh.

What gap? I had a gap all around with my cheap Scott Drake one. The SHR piece seems to fit the contour perfectly. Here's a couple pics I took when I first installed it.

I also want to vouch for SHR quality parts. Their bezel is machined out of billet aluminum. The factory bezel is aluminum colored plastic.

Flaminexpress, that is one custom interior. It looks like something you would see at SEMA. How were the door panels made?

cdynaco, the stock Bullitt interior with the serial plate is awesome. I love the Bullitt dash, gear shift, seats and steering wheel.

The door panels where fabercated by Johnathan Demuth ( owner / CEO ) T3 Audio. He took the original door panels, cut and molded everything ,as for materials he used, fiber glass, wood, carbon fiber, plexi glass and a lot of know how. Yea , it was suppost to go to this years SEMA,but the painter messed up, so now the paint on the car needs to be stripped! ( too many layers of paint) Since it will be completely stripped, new plains are in the works for the exterior color, will up-date at a later date.

How is the SHR cup holder bezel installed? Is it glued or taped in or does it just sit there? Also, will cups/bottles/cans actually fit in it?

It comes with velcro pre-adhered to the correct spots. A 20 oz coke/water bottle or starbucks coffee will fit in the rear one while nothing bigger than a soda can will fit in the front (I have a nissan stainless coffee cup that's sorta tapered and it fits in the front). Which is the reason for the velcro... if you and your honey both have a 20 ozer, you can just pick it up and toss it in the ceter console.
