They are solid oak and very high quality. At that price, they better be! I bought mine from a guy that put his car back to stock before he sold it. I've never seen another Mustang with one installed.

Awesome, thanks! I wonder how these flew beneath the radar for so long? They really could put some better close up photos on their website, though. Ill be ordering them today...but definitely not the $1200 steering wheel! At least not yet!

I have a set of billet door panel inserts, These are brushed aluminum / chrome combination. Not made by TMI, These where displayed @ 2005 SEMA show, but the company never produced any others & I purchased the only set. I have no use for them any more since I have my custom door panels. These are one of a kind, but they need scratches removed ...

old panel with insert

Well, since Im slowly running out of things to do with the car, I looked at the interior and noticed that, other than the Steering wheel and Hurst shifter and the Kenwood unit, I have nothing exciting in the car, so........................

I went a little crazy but sorry for the crappy phone pix.

I didn't know Katskin did custom shapes with the contrasting inserts. I so want to get rid of the chintz fabric that came with mine!

Here is the lastest for me... Chrome trim around the airbag cover, door speaker and switch trim, and some around the outer seat trim cover.

I ordered take-off 2010 black leather seat covers with white stitching! I can't wait for these to show up!

3 questions:
1) Is it an optical illusion or is the center emblem on the steering wheel sliver? If silver, where did you get that?
2) The silver plate on the center stack. Is that a self-paint-job? Look great! Way better then the stick-ons. I don't like the way the stick-ons are raised.. looks so much better flush.
3) With the chrome trim around the steering wheel, can you still honk the horn?

The steering wheel center emblem is factory but now all polished aluminum. This is the result after the original black paint started peeling on it's own. I stripped the remaining black paint off and left the red, white and blue on the tribar.

The silver plate on the center stack is paint. I did it myself with Duplicolor Ultra Silver T81 Truck, Van and SUV paint. The door switch plates and speaker grille surrounds are done with the same paint.

I am over the silver painted door speaker trim aka garbage can lids. I have had it that way quite a while. Thinking of going back to black ones and just have only the chrome trim around the back edge. I may try a set of 2010 speaker trim rings as well. That way would tie in better with the chrome airbag surround and chrome rings in the radio *****.

I have no trouble at all honking the horn. The chrome door edge molding fits on the back edge of the airbag cover just like the edge of a door. I positioned the seam on the bottom of the airbag cover so it is not noticable. I think the wheel looks richer now, more refined like an Audi or something.

I plan to order chrome inside door handles soon.

WOW. Some people have a lot more disposable income than I do. I could have sworn I posted in this thread already, but that must have been one of the things gone in the crash. So here's mine (again):
