my friend went to an auto show and told me the leg room or seating room in general for the 05 mustang is realllly small. the persons legs gotta be skinny, and the ppl in the back are really going to be uncomfortable..

for those with the mustangs already.. is this true?

I'm 6'3" tall and 185 lbs., and I have plenty of legroom in the driver's seat. There's hardly any room behind me, though.

agreed....front seats are roomy for even the talles t drivers...plenty of leg and head room....back seat is darn near useless....a seat delete is the best idea in my mind...make it a real 2 seater and save some weight!

I just figure if they're riding in the back they're used to walking anyway... they can deal with it for a ride in a new stang

Im 6'4 170 and have NO trouble what-so-ever in the front.

The front seating is great...
Back seating should have "for decorative use only" stamped on it.

I use it to haul my 9 and 12 year old..They fit(barely)..but hey they look good!

"Oh man hot chick in a mustang.. and its an 05!"
Pull up beside. Rev engine. Throw arm across to other seat, turn and give the nod. Notice kids in backseat. Hang head and slowly drive away defeated.

Front seat is great. I'm 5'10" and have tons of room.

Back seat (although tight) is actually a lot better than past models. I had an 02 and it was really cramped. The back seats now are more like a bucket seat so you sink into them.

Wouldn't recomend any long distance trips in the back seat though, but short cruises with your buddies will be fine as long as they are not linebacker size.

I made sure my son fit in the back seat before I ordered mine. He's as big as I am. 5'11" 230 and only 13, one of the best Football players in VB though. It's fine for short trips, I won't be having anyone back there for 5-10 hour drives.... The wifes truck is for that.

B) At 6' and 240 I'm not exactly a "small" guy ... I have plenty of room in the front seats. Also rode in the rear seat; rather tight quarters for me. I figure if you're over 5'8" and 170 the rear seats are going to be small and the roof line tight. But hey, it's a sports car. If you want rear seat room ... get a minivan.
