you can get it in diff colors. I had bought one for my 06 with matching shifter boot. never installed the shifter one cause I ended up getting a TCI ratchet shifter.

in the pictures they show yes it does I will agree. I have seen better pics where people retain a bezel it looks much better.

 

How do you install that cover? I think it might look ok with a bezel...

 

I think the instructions are somewhere on that site. I was just going to take of the cover around the gear indicator and glue it to the SHR bezel I had. I had it test fitted in the car and would have worked I just changed my mind and went with a TCI

 

i know it. the shifter companys should jump on these, like hurst. theres a good market for 05-09 auto shifters.

you`ll really like the tci. its a quality shifter.

 

i agree. installing interiors is a art in itself. no matter how perfect the part is, the install can make or break a part. and theres as many ways to do a install as there are DIY`rs. ford didnt do any favors with that shifter. the boot idea is kinda cool but i like having the indicator lights myself.

 

Do you still have it by chance? Or did you just return it? I'd be interested in buying it if you did still have it.

 

I gave it to my brother he has a silver 05. He might sell it as he bought the tci shifter from me and has no need for it either.
