Can anyone tell me some conrete info. on the availability of IUP?

Is it holding up orders? Is it available still? what is going on with the injunction?

Going to order my car and I was just wondering..

 

It is available.. There are no issues with the IUP..
All mustangs regardless of options (GT ONLY) are on back order..
It takes 3 weeks for the ford plant to give the dealer a delivery date...
If your dealer submits the paperwork right away, the order goes into a pool to be assigned a vin and production date..
Its usualt 6-8 weeks from that time until delivery..
So, leave 10-12 weeks from order date..
IUP IS NO PROBLEM... GET IT!!!

 

IUP is available but restricted. Ford is only allowing about 33% of the orders being pulled to have the IUP package. So it may hold up your order, but I'd get it none-the-less. Ford ruled against My Weyer's injunction, the problem with the delay is still a supply issue, they just can't get enough produced by Delphi. Order it the way you want it, the delay will be worth it. I ordered Nov 13th and should have my car within the next week or two, some have been waiting longer. The good news is that there are rumors that Ford is stepping up production, the bad news is that when spring time hits and people flock to their dealers to order the cars, the backlog will likely grow. Good luck.

Also, it may take much longer than just three weeks to get a deliv date, look on the main forum for more info.

 

Good thing I allready ordered... My delivery should be July 6th, but I hope to get it in may so I can enjoy some more warm weather in ny...
